Who We Are
This website is operated by CLUBSTAGE RECORDS. For privacy questions or requests, contact: jacob@clubstagerecords.com.
What We Collect
When you submit a demo, we collect the information you choose to send through the form:
- artist name(s)
- track title
- email address
- Instagram handle, if provided
- demo link
- track type and vocal information
- your message, if provided
Our hosting provider may also process basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, visited pages, timestamps, and server logs to deliver and secure the website.
How We Use Your Information
We use personal information to:
- receive, review, and respond to demo submissions
- contact artists about possible releases, feedback, or follow-up questions
- operate, protect, and improve the website
- keep records where reasonably needed for business or legal purposes
Legal Basis
We process demo submissions because you ask us to review your material and contact you about it. We also rely on our legitimate interests in running a record label, managing artist submissions, protecting the website, and keeping necessary business records.
Services We Use
Demo forms are submitted through FormSubmit and delivered to our email inbox. The site also embeds a Spotify playlist. Spotify may process data about your interaction with the embedded player, especially if you are logged into Spotify or play the embedded content.
How Long We Keep Data
Demo submissions are normally kept for up to 24 months, unless we are in active contact with you, considering a release, or need to keep the information for legal, accounting, or dispute purposes. Hosting logs are normally kept only as long as needed for security, troubleshooting, and hosting operations.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers that help operate the website, deliver form submissions, host email, or review demos. If a release conversation moves forward, information may be shared with relevant music business partners only where needed.
International Transfers
Some service providers may process data outside your country. Where required, those providers are expected to use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal information. You may also have the right to data portability and the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
To make a request, email jacob@clubstagerecords.com.
Updates
We may update this policy when the website, demo process, or services change. The latest version will always be posted on this page.
